Production Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for our 1st shift operations. This is a working supervisor role, meaning the ideal candidate will actively work alongside the team while overseeing daily production, employee performance, and workflow. The supervisor will play a key role in scheduling, inventory support, and ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and work alongside production employees on the floor
• Schedule work and assign tasks for all shifts based on production needs
• Ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
• Assist with inventory tracking, materials coordination, and reporting shortages
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with management regarding production status and staffing needs
Qualifications:
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or plastics environment preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage employees while remaining hands-on in production
• Experience with scheduling, inventory support, and basic reporting
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
• Reliable attendance and ability to lead by example
