**📍 Location:** Fairview, PA
**🕒 Hours:** Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
**💰 Pay:** $14 per hour
### 📋 Job Overview
As a General Laborer on the Heavy (Blue/Red) powder coat lines, you’ll handle tasks that support the coating process (🚫 except for spraying) by preparing parts, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role requires a strong attention to detail, physical stamina 💪, and adherence to safety protocols 🦺.
### 🛠 Key Responsibilities
- **👩🏫 Training & Preparation:** Learn proper procedures for hanging and inspecting parts.
- **🔄 Tool Management:** Return hooks and tooling to the correct storage locations.
- **🧹 Housekeeping & Safety:** Keep work areas clean and follow all safety protocols.
- **✅ Quality Control:** Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer standards and accurately record counts for shipment 📦.
- **🔬 Advanced Checks:** More experienced workers perform quality checks like adhesion and cure tests.
- **📢 Communication:** Report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
### 📌 Primary Duties
- **🎨 Masking & Protecting:** Use masking tape and plugs to protect certain areas from coating.
- **💪 Physical Tasks:** Frequently lift parts (up to 50 pounds), both from floor and shoulder levels.
- **🔍 Inspection & Reporting:** Inspect parts for quality compliance and complete inspection reports as needed.
- **🔥 Adaptability:** Work in hot and humid conditions and keep pace with the moving conveyor system.
### ✅ Qualifications
- **⚖️ Physical Requirements:** Lift up to 50 pounds waist-high and 20 pounds overhead.
- **🚜 Forklift Experience:** A plus but not required.
- **🔍 Quality & Safety Awareness:** Ability to spot defects, wear PPE 🦺, follow safety rules, and report any accidents immediately.
