General Laborer

Mancan is assisting a local Parkersburg seeking dependable General Laborers to assist with asbestos abatement and removal projects. This role involves working in regulated environments under strict safety protocols to remove hazardous materials from residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Candidates must be safety-focused and willing to follow all compliance guidelines. Must be willing to travel as well as work locally. This is a direct hire position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the safe containment and removal of asbestos-containing materials
- Set up and maintain containment areas, barriers, and negative air systems
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and state regulations for hazardous material handling
- Properly wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform site cleanup and decontamination procedures
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and certified abatement professionals
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and medical clearance
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and wear protective gear for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
