Production Assistant

Massillon Mancan is assisting a local company who is looking for Production Assistants. This is a 3rd shift position. Hours are 10p-6:30a Sunday-Thursday
Job duties:
• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage
• Inspect products for defects, damage, or missing components
• Verify order accuracy against packing slips or system instructions
• Operate and maintain production equipment, including power tools and hand tools, to fabricate and assemble products.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and adhere to safety protocols while working on the factory floor.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow on the assembly line.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse and between production areas as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
