Process Technician

Mancan in Northfield is assisting a local Cleveland company who has a position as a Process Technician. This position will be 1st shift 5:30am-1:30pm and the start pay will be based on experience but starting at least $18 an hour. Must have experience in previous Laboratory setting.

• Manufacturing Quality Systems
Job requirements:
• Performed daily chemical titrations (3× per day) on multiple production process lines to maintain proper solution concentrations and process control.
• Monitored and verified chemical bath conditions; initiated corrective actions and escalated out-of-spec conditions to QA and Plant Management.
• Conducted process solution testing and wastewater analysis to ensure compliance with operational and environmental requirements.
• Recorded and analyzed titration data; generated monthly trend graphs and performance reports for process tanks.
• Entered production rework data and prepared monthly rejection and quality reports using internal database systems.
• Assisted Quality Inspection with coating weight testing, product inspection, and quality support activities as needed.
• Maintained laboratory calibration records and ensured testing equipment remained compliant and accurate.
• Ordered laboratory chemicals and equipment; managed inventory to support uninterrupted production.
• Maintained organized laboratory documentation including analysis schedules, temperature charts, and testing databases.
• Updated and improved chemical testing procedures to support continuous process improvement.
• Supported QA Manager with special projects and quality initiatives.
• Maintained clean and organized laboratory work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Worked flexible schedules, including Saturdays, to support production demands.
