Slitter Operator – 4, 4 rotations (x2 days 6a-6p, x2
nights 6p-6a, 4 days off)
Pay rate: $18 - $18.50/hour
Job Summary
This role is responsible for setting up and operating slitting machines to cut film to exact sizes while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate slitting machines to meet production specs
Install and adjust blades, spacers, and machine settings
Monitor machine operation and inspect finished rolls for quality
Read production tickets and enter data into computer systems
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety policies
Handle materials safely, including forklift use (training provided)
Support team with general production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (1–3 years experience preferred)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Basic math and measuring skills (tape measure, fractions)
Comfortable using computers and production systems
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused
