Mancan is seeking a dependable, reliable Service Technician for a local pool company!
Description
The Service Technician is responsible to perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to working on pools, spas, and all equipment associated with the operation of pools and spas.
Pay
$16-$19/hr based on electrical and plumbing exp.
Responsibilities
-Use basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing experience to perform maintenance and repair work to pools and spas.
-Maintain a driver’s license and clean driving record to be able to drive to and from jobs in a company supplied vehicle.
-Keep vehicle stocked and organized with various parts and tools to be able to perform most jobs on the first visit without having to make a second trip.
-Keep vehicle clean inside and outside.
-Schedule and/or let management know if there is any service work required to the company supplied vehicle.
-Organize and schedule jobs based on the work orders that come in. Jobs should be scheduled promptly, but also efficiently based on their location.
-Have open communication with customers from scheduling to diagnosing the issue. If parts need to be ordered let customer know the next step and follow up with pricing and ordering if need be.
-Keep detailed records of service work including time at the job, parts and part numbers used, serial numbers, and any other pertinent information.
-Communicate with store manager about scheduling of jobs so he or she can help and/or communicate with customer’s time frames, status of parts ordered, etc.
-Have open lines of communication with vendors and manufactures and utilize tech support to diagnose and fix issues that you may need extra support with.
-Carry out any and all tasks to guarantee efficient operation of the retail store as assigned by management.
