**4:30 PM – 3:00 AM**
**Mandatory overtime as needed until 5:00 AM**
### **Position Overview**
We are seeking dedicated Press Operators to take ownership and provide leadership in producing the highest quality products for our customers. This position offers long-term employment potential with a professional team committed to continuous improvement and total quality excellence.
The Press Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring press machines to ensure efficient production, quality output, and workplace safety.
### **Duties & Responsibilities**
* Start and monitor machines; record production data and downtime
* Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications
* Operate punch and stamping machines for metal materials
* Install, align, and secure punches, dies, and fixtures using gauges and hand tools
* Position guides, stops, and holding blocks to secure workpieces
* Ensure hand controls and light curtains are functioning properly
* Test and adjust machine speeds according to product specifications
* Communicate with Press Helpers to ensure proper PPE, machine cleanliness, lubrication, and quality checks
* Maintain safety within assigned work area and ensure all safety controls are functioning
* Work with inspectors to ensure parts meet quality standards
* Perform additional duties as assigned
### **Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Previous production, landscaping, agricultural, or construction experience preferred
* Ability to follow directions and maintain quality accuracy
* Safety-conscious with strong teamwork skills
* Training provided by the company
### **Working Conditions**
* Exposure to vibration and moving mechanical parts
* Regular handling of dirty, oily, or greasy materials
* Loud work environment
* Open plant environment with exposure to extreme heat, humidity, and cold
### **Physical Requirements**
* Continuous standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
* Frequent use of hands and arms
* Lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 40 lbs frequently, and 60 lbs occasionally
* Must have close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision
