1st shift Friday-Sunday 6a-6p- training on 1st Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p

Candidates will be attaching wax patterns to tree molds
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspects for flash, non-fill or other imperfections.
• Attaches wax patterns to correct tree via heated tools (i.e. torch, putty knife) with use of heated glue accordingly to the process instructions.
• Read process cards thoroughly and ask questions if any clarification is needed.
• Assures all gates make a clean and lawless seal to the wax tree.
• Complete set up log paper with number, work order number, operator's initials, and original set up quantity if not all pieces were set up.
• Verifies part and tree count when each lot is completed and document in the foundry tracking system (i.e. Guardian)
• Trains personnel.
• Suggests corrections or improvements on processes, safety, and housekeeping.
• inform supervisor or lead of any material running low or may be needed.
• Cleans and maintains work area daily.
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Experience or training in waxing and cleaning parts.
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements):
• LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
