**Maintenance Technician 🛠️**
Hours
Mon-Fri 6-2pm, Tue-Fri 6-4pm or Mon – Thu 6-4pm
Pay is starting at $22 based on experience.
**Responsibilities:**
- 🔒 Prioritize safety at all times, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- 🛠️ Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various machinery and mechanical equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes.
- 🧪 Utilize electrical and electronic testing equipment, as well as hand tools, to visually inspect and test machinery and powered equipment.
- 👀 Observe and listen to the operation of machines and equipment to identify malfunctions and diagnose issues.
- 🤖 Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment.
- 🏗️ Maintain and repair building infrastructure and grounds using power tools, hoists, and cranes.
- ⚡ Work with 220 and 480 volt circuits.
- 🧼 Clean, lubricate, and maintain machine parts including shafts, bearings, and gears.
- 🛠️ Replace, repair, and maintain gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- 🔥 Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to cut and join metal parts.
- 🔩 Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- 🧹 Keep the work area clean and safe.
- 🏢 Participate in remodeling and new construction projects for existing facilities.
- 📐 Read and comprehend blueprints, wire schematics, and technical manuals.
- 📝 Maintain detailed records of tasks performed, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- 🛠️ Perform additional tasks as required and assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- 🔧 Prior experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment.
- 📏 Proficiency in working with electrical and electronic testing equipment.
- ⚡ Familiarity with 220 and 480 volt circuits.
- 🔥 Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment operation.
- 📖 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wire schematics, and technical manuals.
- 🧠 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- 💬 Good communication skills to report issues and maintenance activities.
- 💻 Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
- 🚀 Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- 💪 Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and using power tools.
