Massillon Mancan is assisting a Canal Fulton machine shop in their search for a CNC machinist.
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $20–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
A growing company in Canal Fulton is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications and blueprints. Candidates with CNC programming experience are strongly preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC milling or lathe machines to produce quality parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Set up machines and adjust offsets as needed to maintain quality standards
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot minor issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and production guidelines
Qualifications:
• Previous experience operating CNC machines required
• Experience with CNC milling or CNC lathe machines
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• CNC programming experience is a strong plus
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
