Are you organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing materials and suppliers? Join our team as a Material Buyer and help keep production running smoothly by sourcing, purchasing, and tracking the materials our company needs to succeed.
📋 Responsibilities
✔️ Source, negotiate, and purchase materials from vendors
✔️ Track inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries
✔️ Review purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation
✔️ Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues or delays
✔️ Collaborate with production and planning teams to meet schedules
✔️ Maintain accurate records of purchases, costs, and suppliers
✔️ Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements
✔️ Monitor market trends to ensure cost-effective sourcing
🧰 Requirements
✔️ Experience in purchasing, procurement, or materials management preferred
✔️ Strong organizational and communication skills
✔️ Ability to analyze data, track orders, and solve problems
✔️ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or inventory software
✔️ Detail-oriented with strong negotiation skills
✔️ Reliable and able to work 1st shift
💼 Full-time Position – Competitive Pay $18–$22/hr depending on experience
