Zone Lead

Mancan Cuyahoga Falls is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Streetsboro to hire a dependable Assembler Zone Leader!
1st shift 2:30pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday and every other Saturday
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hr or more based on experience.
Daily Duties
• Set the lines in your zone up for success
o Stock all materials that are needed
• Ensure each person in your zone knows exactly what they are doing for the shift and they are maintaining a safe work environment
o Make sure all employees in your zone are wearing the appropriate PPE for their tasks.
• Train new hires and provide ongoing training for existing employees
• Daily Quality Inspections and completing the necessary paperwork
• Cover all breaks for the employees in your zone
o Be sure the lines are caught up before taking your break
• Fill the gaps
o Keep every line up to speed
o Always help where needed
• Ensure bundles are wrapped and tagged correctly
• Handle any issues and repairs for your zone.
o If you are unable to handle an issue or repair take it to the floor supervisors
• Report any safety issues or misconduct to the floor supervisors immediately
• Set up the zone for the following shifts
• Maintain a clean work area at all times
• Always be respectful, treat everyone equally and keep a positive attitude
• Be the work cell lead model! Ensure that everyone wants to be on your team!
