Northfield Mancan is assisting a company in Oakwood Village who is looking for an EXPERIENCED Parts & Service Dept Employee. Candidate will be required to provide Auto tech information for company trucks, acting as a service writer for repairs, conducting parts sales via phone or over the counter, interacting with vendors for parts and warranty concerns, as well as customer service.
MUST have previous expreience working at an auto parts store or acted as a service writer in a repair shop or perhaps an ex mechanic with some administrative skills.
Basic duties: Administer internal and vendor warranties, Assist customers on the phone with technical questions and parts requests, Assist customer at our service counter with parts sales and/or service requests
Skills/Knowledge: Mechanical knowledge and aptitude a must. Ability to communicate between customers and technicians, Experience with parts – sales, look up, organization, etc. Basic computer skills – Learn our proprietary system, excel(would be nice), then basic email, Good phone and customer skills. Articulate/educated.
• Ability to multi task and prioritize
• Good organizational skills
