Quality Control Specialist

Barberton Mancan is assisting an Akron company is seeking an experienced Quality Technician.
1st shift 7a-3:30p Monday-Friday
Pay range of $20-$26/hr DOE
Long term, temp to hire position for the right candidate
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Conduct inspections on the manufacturing floor including First Article, in-process, incoming and final inspections of product.
Document and report inspection findings and results.
Perform various mechanical, physical and visual inspections of product, components, and sub-assemblies as per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements.
Read and interpret specifications and part prints.
Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment.
Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by lead workers.
Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality and safety work rules and all other company regulations.
