The Service Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for managing and coordinating schedules, appointments, and resources to ensure efficient operations within an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Schedules: Create, update, and maintain schedules for staff, clients, or resources to optimize workflow and ensure timely service delivery.
• Coordinate Appointments: Organize meetings, appointments, and events, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and available.
• Resolve Conflicts: Handle scheduling conflicts and make necessary adjustments to accommodate changes or cancellations.
• Communicate Effectively: Liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders to determine scheduling needs and preferences, ensuring clear communication regarding any changes.
• Utilize Scheduling Tools: Use scheduling software or tools to track schedules, manage resources, and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor Attendance: Keep records of attendance and employee availability, ensuring adequate coverage for scheduled events.
Qualifications:
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is often preferred but not required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a scheduling or administrative role is required, with a focus on time management and organizational skills.
• Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential. Familiarity with scheduling software is also beneficial.
