Job Description: Quality Control - Paint Batches Testing
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control to join our manufacturing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough testing on paint batches before they are shipped to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and prior experience with paint or coating processes would be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Batch Testing: Perform comprehensive quality control tests on paint batches according to established procedures and standards. These tests will include but are not limited to shading, viscosity, pH, gloss, and spray tests.
2. Data Collection: Accurately record and document test results, ensuring all data is well-organized and easily accessible for review.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accurate and consistent results.
4. Reporting: Prepare concise and informative reports summarizing the test findings and any deviations from the set quality standards.
5. Non-Conformance Identification: Identify and report any non-conforming paint batches, alerting the Quality Control Supervisor and production team for further investigation and corrective actions.
6. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to enhance testing procedures and quality control practices.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control protocols.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to communicate testing results and address any quality-related concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality control or a related role.
- Experience in the paint or coating industry would be a valuable asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in testing and data recording.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures related to shading, viscosity, pH, gloss, and spray tests.
- Good problem-solving skills to identify and address any quality issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to convey testing results and work collaboratively with the team.
-Must pass color assesment done on-site.
