Mancan Staffing – Marietta is currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team! We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented professional with strong welding and fabrication experience who can produce high-quality work while meeting production goals and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with TIG welding, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and operating fabrication equipment. This position requires someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and can deliver precise, quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality TIG welding on various metals and materials
• Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair metal components and structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and technical schematics
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials using saws, torches, grinders, and other hand/power tools
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including presses, shears, brakes, and other machinery
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity
• Identify and troubleshoot welding or fabrication issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain proper welding techniques and follow production specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and care of welding equipment and tools
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Qualifications:
• Previous professional experience as a Welder/Fabricator required
• Strong proficiency in TIG welding; experience with MIG and Stick welding is a plus
• Must be able to successfully pass a 6G weld test
• Welding certification required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of metalworking tools, fabrication processes, and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong safety awareness, reliability, and work ethic
