Mancan Staffing – Marietta is currently hiring an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team! We are seeking a skilled and dependable professional who takes pride in their craftsmanship and has a strong background in welding, fabrication, and precision metalwork.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and producing high-quality components in a professional manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality.
Position Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of metals and components
• Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair metal parts and structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and technical specifications
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, saws, grinders, and torches
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including presses, shears, brakes, and other machinery
• Inspect finished welds and fabricated components to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain proper welding techniques while following production requirements
• Perform routine care and maintenance of welding equipment and tools
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Previous professional experience as a Welder/Fabricator required
• Strong TIG welding experience required; MIG and Stick welding experience is a plus
• Must successfully pass a 6G weld test
• Welding certification required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, tools, and equipment
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain standing for extended periods
• Dependable, safety-focused, and motivated work ethic
