**Reports To:** Finishing & Shipping Lead
train on 1st then move to 2nd or 3rd shift. $15.50 while training and then a $ shift differential
Step into a hands-on production role where quality and precision matter. As a **Label Finishing Operator**, you’ll play a key role in ensuring finished labels meet exact customer specifications before they head out the door.
You’ll inspect, process, and prepare label products while maintaining strict quality standards and accurate documentation. If you take pride in detail-oriented work and keeping things running smoothly—this is for you.
#### 🏭 Production & Finishing
* Read and follow job instructions, specs, and drawings
* Inspect, sort, splice, and prepare label rolls
* Ensure proper label alignment, orientation, and visual quality
* Operate manual and vision-based quality control systems
* Follow established finishing and splicing procedures
* Support production needs, including overtime when required
#### 🔍 Quality Control
* Inspect labels for defects and non-conformance
* Verify inlay placement and product accuracy
* Accurately document defects and rejected materials
* Track production counts, quality issues, and performance
* Ensure all finished goods meet internal and customer standards
#### 📝 Documentation & Accuracy
* Review job packets before starting production
* Complete all required paperwork accurately—every shift, no exceptions
* Maintain traceability by labeling all samples and finished goods
* Track time, production totals, and rejected quantities
#### 📦 Material Handling
* Verify materials and samples before starting each job
* Use correct samples for quality comparison
* Prepare finished rolls and stage for shipment
* Ensure all completed products are properly labeled and transferred
#### ⚙️ Process & Team Support
* Follow all procedures, training guides, and work instructions
* Maintain a clean, organized workspace
* Communicate issues quickly to leadership
* Participate in ongoing training and improvement efforts
### ✅ What We’re Looking For
**Preferred Experience:**
* 1–3 years in manufacturing, label finishing, or similar environment
**Knowledge (a plus):**
* Label converting/finishing processes
* Quality inspection and defect detection
* Production documentation systems
* RFID label basics

* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to read and follow technical instructions
