Canton Mancan is assisting a local company with a Executive Director of Home health, who can lead, scale, and professionalize our care operations while strengthening relationships with county boards, SSAs, and referral sources.
.
This is a build, lead, and scale role.
You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to:
Strengthen operational systems
Lead and develop mid-level management
Drive referral growth through credibility and relationships
Ensure excellence in care delivery and compliance

What Youโ€™ll Own
๐Ÿ”น Operations Leadership
Oversee residential and HPC operations across multiple sites
Lead Program Coordinators and Residential Managers
Ensure staffing stability, scheduling efficiency, and minimal overtime
Step into critical situations and stabilize challenging cases
๐Ÿ”น Team Development
Build strong leadership layers beneath you
Coach and develop managers into high performers
Create accountability systems and performance standards
๐Ÿ”น External Relationships & Growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with:
County Boards of DD
Service & Support Administrators (SSAs)
Referral partners
Represent Legacy professionally in high-stakes situations
Contribute directly to client acquisition and retention

Ensure compliance with Ohio DODD rules and regulations
Oversee MUIs, care plans, and documentation standards
Maintain high-quality care outcomes across all programs
๐Ÿ”น Strategic Execution
Partner with CEO on growth initiatives, expansion, and acquisitions
Improve systems, workflows, and operational efficiency
Help scale the organization from ~12 clients to 100+ clients
Who You Are
You are a high-level operator, not just a manager.
Required:
5+ years leadership experience in:
Developmental Disabilities (preferred), OR
Home Health / Behavioral Health / Human Services
Strong understanding of:
Ohio DODD rules (or similar regulatory environment)
Proven ability to:
Lead managers (not just frontline staff)
Stabilize difficult operational situations
Build structure in growing organizations

Have direct experience working with County Boards & SSAs
Have scaled a program, region, or agency
Are respected by referral sources and stakeholders
Are both operationally strong AND relationship-driven

Compensation & Growth
We are prepared to offer a competitive package for the right leader:
Base Salary: $85,000 โ€“ $95,000
Performance Bonus: $10,000 โ€“ $20,000+ tied to:
Client growth
Operational KPIs
Retention and staffing stability
Growth Incentives: Additional upside tied to expansion milestones
