Industrial Electrician – Concord Facility
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: $28-$34/hour, based on experience
The Concord facility is seeking an Industrial Electrician. This position is primarily responsible for machine wiring and electrical assembly for custom, one-of-a-kind machines built to electrical specifications. A strong mechanical background is preferred, and on-site training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
• Build and wire custom machines using engineering documentation
• Perform panel building and wiring
• Complete primarily electrical work, with some mechanical and pneumatic assembly as needed
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, sketches, and installation specifications
• Plan layouts and install electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in control cabinets
• Perform tasks such as mounting, fastening, drilling and tapping, positioning, leveling, and plumbing pneumatics and other tube- or pipe-based systems
• Work closely with the project team to debug, troubleshoot, and solve machine-related challenges
• Support the machine-building process through acceptance testing, including possible on-site customer installations and start-up support
• Assist with other duties as needed, including packing outgoing equipment and crating/packaging machinery
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications
• Strong industrial electrical knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
• Ability to read and interpret pneumatic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate lift trucks and overhead cranes
• Ability to work overtime as needed
