Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Description:
A well-established manufacturing company in Painesville, OH is seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Set-Up Machinist to join their team. This is a full-time, first-shift position offering steady hours and competitive compensation based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami)
* Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
* Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
* Monitor production for quality and efficiency
* Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Troubleshoot and resolve machine and tooling issues
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of experience setting up Swiss CNC machines
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
* Familiarity with G-code and machine programming adjustments is a plus
* Must be reliable and able to work independently
