Mancan Staffing is currently looking for a part time demonstrator.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Product Demonstrator to represent our clients products. This role is responsible for engaging customers, offering samples, and promoting the products in a way the enhances the overall shopping experience and drives sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present samples of cheese, confections and other specialty items in a clean and appealing manner
Engage customers by explaining product origins, flavors, and pairing suggestions
Encourage purchases through friendly interaction and product knowledge
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the demonstration area, following all food safety guidelines
Monitor sample inventory and communicate restocking needs
Answer customer questions and provide recommendation based preferences
Support store staff with light merchandizing or restocking as needed
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable initiating conversations with customers
Interested in food
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
Previous retail, food service, or promotional experience preferred but not required
Work Environment & Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to handle and serve food products safety
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
