A well known Alliance company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech. This is a great opportunity for an individual with the desire to grow and learn while on the job.

Position Summary:
This role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment improvements while following established procedures, safety standards, and technical instructions. Must have a min of 2 yrs Forklift experience
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, equipment setups, repairs, and upgrades according to manuals, diagrams, and engineering instructions.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on factory equipment.
Work with motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, distribution systems, and electrical test equipment.
Fabricate and repair parts using machine shop equipment and tools.
Maintain organized parts and supplies inventory.
Follow all company procedures, work instructions, and safety policies.
Complete required documentation such as work orders, PM forms, and charts.
Communicate maintenance needs and project updates to supervision.
Train and share technical knowledge with team members as needed.
Perform welding (MIG, TIG, arc) on carbon steel and stainless steel; conduct soldering and brazing as required.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines, including confined space procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements
:
Education & Skills
-Basic reading, writing, and math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
Experience performing maintenance and repairs on industrial or factory equipment.
Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and general maintenance tools.
Forklift operation experience (certification required or ability to obtain).
Physical Requirements
:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods (up to 95% of shift).
Sufficient range of motion for lifting, twisting, reaching, and kneeling.
Ability to work long shifts (minimum 12 hours) and overtime as needed.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must pass a pre employment background check and drug screen.
