Northfield Mancan is assisting a company in Streetsboro who is filling positions for 1st shift Plant Support. Shift times are Mon-Fri 6am-4:30pm with possible Fridays off and the starting pay rate is $17.50 an hour. You must have a clean criminal background check and able to pass a drug test.
This position requires someone to be able to stand for extended periods of time and routinely package product for shipment for customers. This would include taking finished products off the production line and stacking products for shipment. This position would require lifting and handling of materials in excess of fifty pounds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Move required stock throughout the plant as needed to maintain production.
• Install covers- Bottoms, tops, or shells onto steel pails
• Participates in setting up the pail line as required
• Orient ear placement on pail shells while on production line
• Construct all cardboard trays or boxes for pail and/or cover packaging
• Responsible for correct labeling and accurate counts of material.
