Mancan Staffing is hiring a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Forklift Operator for a facility in Donora, PA. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in warehouse operations, enjoys hands-on work, and can perform in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
Job Overview
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials throughout the warehouse. Duties include loading and unloading trailers, organizing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth daily workflow.
Schedule
* Full-time position
* Four 10-hour shifts per week
* Rotating schedule with every other weekend off
* Day and night shift availability
Key Responsibilities
* Operate sit-down forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials safely
* Place and retrieve inventory, including stacking materials up to approximately 30 feet
* Receive incoming shipments and prepare outbound loads
* Maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts and physical inventories
* Complete shipping documentation and follow warehouse procedures
* Use warehouse management or ERP systems as required
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Follow all company safety rules, GMPs, and standard operating procedures
* Report hazards, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately
* Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years forklift operating experience required
* Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required
* Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution settings preferred
* Must possess a **valid driver’s license**
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Physical Requirements
* Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, and lift throughout the shift
* Must be able to perform repetitive material handling tasks safely
