Body Shop Technician

Mancan is working with a body shop in Millersburg looking for a body shop assistant. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with some Saturdays as needed. Pay is based on experience between $15-$20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sanding
- Operate hand & power tools, welding equipment, and airless paint sprayers
- Perform auto glass replacement, detailing, and light mechanical repairs
- Assemble parts, perform heavy lifting, and ensure proper alignment of components
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service inquiries, and vehicle inspections
Qualifications:
- Prior dealership experience or hands-on work in an automotive repair environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto glass installation, auto body repair, and auto restoration processes
- Experience using hand & power tools, soldering equipment, and airless paint spraying devices
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures such as auto estimating and vehicle maintenance tasks
