Inspector-Quality Control

Mancan has teamed up with a growing, high-precision manufacturing company in the Akron/Green area that is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team.
This position can be full-time or part-time on either day or afternoon shift.
The right candidate will have previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong eye for detail.
Pay is in the low to mid $20s based on experience.
Hours:
1st shift and 2nd shift available (exact times to be discussed)
The Quality Inspector will work closely with the production team and Quality Manager to ensure all parts meet customer and industry standards.
Duties would include:
Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections. Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Work with machinists and production to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with ISO standards. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives. Use basic computer programs as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and support overall quality processes.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
• Strong blueprint reading skills (GD&T preferred)
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gage blocks)
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with CNC and manual machining processes is a plus
