Industrial Maintenance Tech

Dover area manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing industrial equipment and systems throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
• Installing, repairing, and replacing piping systems, power equipment, process equipment, pumps, conveyors, and similar machinery
• Performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns
• Inspecting machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Working with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Assisting with facility maintenance projects as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be available to work any shift, including weekends, overtime, and holidays
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts as scheduled
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment assessment with a score of 70% or higher
• Must be able to complete a 12-minute timed aptitude test measuring ability to learn job functions, solve problems, understand instructions, and apply knowledge in new situations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally roll or handle containers weighing up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing stairs and railcar ladders
• Must be able to wear required safety equipment, including a full-face respirator, supplied air respirator, and SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus)
• Strong attention to safety and ability to work in an industrial environment
This is a direct hire opportunity, & the pay starts out at $31.93/hr.
