**First Shift Assembler**
**Location:** Dalton, Ohio
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime available on Saturdays or as needed.
**Pay Rate:** $19/hour
**Position Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work on assembling products to exact specifications while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production goals. **Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble products according to blueprints, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and work orders.
- Utilize power and hand tools efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret work orders to ensure accuracy in assembly.
- Inspect raw materials and components to maintain product quality.
- Meet or exceed established production standards.
- Mentor and train team members as needed.
- Monitor work for quality and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
**Qualifications**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 12 months in a related assembly role.
- **Education:** Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
- **Mathematical Skills:** Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- **Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
- Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, and reaching required.
