**Posting Order – Machine Operator / Production Associate**
**Shifts Available:** 1st & 3rd Shift
**Pay: $22.55
**Shift: Mon-Fri 7a-5p & overtime on Saturdays when needed.
** Shift differential: .50 cents for going to 3rd after training is done on 1st shift.
Position Summary
Seeking dependable and detail-oriented candidates to operate and monitor manufacturing machinery in a production environment. Candidates will be responsible for machine setup, production monitoring, quality inspections, and supporting maintenance efforts while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare machines for production by completing tooling changes and machine parameter adjustments according to work orders.
* Monitor production processes and machine performance throughout production runs.
* Identify and address production deviations or machine issues promptly.
* Inspect finished products for defects and follow quality control procedures.
* Remove and properly document defective materials.
* Assist maintenance teams with machine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minimizing downtime.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Follow all PPE, safety, and production requirements at all times.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Experience operating moderately complex machinery in a manufacturing setting.
* Good visual inspection skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to lift medium to heavy objects as needed.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred:
* Minimum of 1 year machine operating experience in manufacturing.
* Experience using power tools.
* Ability to read blueprints.
