Mancan Staffing is hiring a service tech for a powersports store in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The position will be 2-3 days a week with a pay of $15-17 basked on experience. Position will be temp to hire.
Must be able to work between the hours below:
Off Sunday/Monday
Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.
A Service Technician at an ATV store is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing all-terrain vehicles, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, and other powersports equipment. Duties include performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire replacements, battery installation, and fluid checks, as well as troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and service manuals. Technicians inspect engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering components, and hydraulic systems to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.
Additional responsibilities include assembling new ATV units, installing aftermarket accessories and parts, completing warranty repair work, maintaining accurate service records, and communicating repair needs with customers and management. Service Technicians are expected to follow safety procedures, keep the shop clean and organized, manage tools and equipment properly, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience with hand and power tools are essential for success in this role. Experience with small engines, electrical systems, welding, fabrication, or heavy equipment maintenance is often preferred.
