Exciting Opportunity: Seeking a Delivery Driver/Production Floor Worker in Strasburg!
Join our team and play a crucial role as a Delivery Driver/Production Floor Worker for a dynamic company located in Strasburg. We're searching for a dedicated individual to contribute to our operations.
Position Overview:
In this multifaceted role, you will primarily be responsible for local deliveries using a 30-foot single-axle box truck. Rest assured, you'll be back home every evening, eliminating the need for overnight travel. Your delivery route will span from Cleveland to Columbus, extending down to Marietta and over to Youngstown. Additionally, you'll proficiently operate an electric pallet jack to facilitate the smooth loading of products onto the truck for customer offloading. Outstanding customer service skills and a polished appearance are essential attributes.
Key Responsibilities:
You will find yourself engaged in diverse tasks, spending approximately 2-3 days per week on deliveries, with the remaining time allocated to shop-related activities. These include precision tasks such as grinding, sanding, and operating band and shop saws. Additionally, you'll demonstrate your expertise in forklift operation during the loading and unloading of the truck, as well as contribute to various other essential shop duties.
Requirements:
A valid driver's license with a spotless driving record is a prerequisite.
Proficiency in driving a standard transmission vehicle is a must.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
You'll thrive in a day shift role, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. As a reward for your dedication, you'll enjoy a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour.
