📍 Location: Wooster, OH
💲 Pay: $22.55/hour
🌙 Shift Differential: +$0.50/hour for 3rd Shift
Training: Will be done on 1st shift and then will transfer to the designated shift.
🕒 Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
📅 Monday – Friday
➕ Overtime available as needed
Mancan is currently seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join a growing manufacturing team as Machine Operators /Battery Assemblers in Wooster, OH. Candidates will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery while supporting battery assembly operations and ensuring quality production standards are met.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Set up and operate manufacturing machinery according to work orders and specifications
✔️ Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments as needed
✔️ Monitor machine performance and production output throughout runs
✔️ Conduct quality inspections and identify defects or inconsistencies
✔️ Remove and document defective materials properly
✔️ Assist maintenance with inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
✔️ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
✔️ Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
📐 Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift medium to heavy materials as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
⭐ Preferred Experience:
• 1+ year of machine operation or manufacturing experience
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Familiarity with production or assembly environments

• Torque guns
• Allen wrenches
• Zip tie tools
• Pliers
• Hand scanners
• Resistance probes
