Shipping Coordinator –Chesterland
Shift: 1st shift | Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $18 an hour but can go up based on experience| Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary:
Shipping:
-Posts shipments in computer system to customer orders.
-Communication of incoming & outgoing status to sales, production & logistics. Includes immediate notification of delayed outgoing shipments. Work with production and logistics to prioritize shipments due to customer needs and production requirements.
-Pack, seal, label and prepare materials for shipping.
Receiving:
-Notify purchasing of incoming/receiving quantity discrepancies.
Receive daily incoming shipments, check quantity, and receive product into computer system.
-Communication of incoming & outgoing status to sales, production & logistics. Includes immediate notification of delayed outgoing shipments.
Picking:
-Pick parts for assembly orders. Stage parts in production area. Maintain stock in production area.
Inventory:
-Monitor inventory. Watch as shipping, identify low levels and create requisitions for purchasing.
-Organize and clean shipping & receiving area and warehouse. Put away inventory on a daily basis.
-Maintain accurate labeling of all parts.
General:
-Should have attention to detail and organization skills.
-Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
