Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift
On-Call: Required after successful completion of training (Rotating Schedule)

Mancan Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing property management team! This is a great opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and providing quality repairs that keep residential communities safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.
The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple maintenance trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs. This position requires a dependable problem solver who takes pride in their work and provides timely, professional service to residents and property teams.
🔧 Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and property improvement projects for residential apartment communities. Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining occupied and vacant units, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring properties meet company standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
• Complete maintenance repairs and service requests in residential units
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, including faucets, toilets, drains, water heaters, and piping
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including outlets, switches, fixtures, breakers, and wiring
• Perform HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
• Complete general repairs including drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, and remodeling
• Install, repair, and replace appliances, fixtures, and equipment
• Complete apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections
• Respond to resident requests professionally and efficiently
• Maintain accurate work order documentation
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule after training completion
🧰 Qualifications:
• Previous residential, commercial, or property maintenance experience required
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in various environments
• Dependable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship
