Mancan is seeking a dependable and hardworking Sandblaster for a manufacturing facility in Coshocton, Ohio. This position is responsible for preparing metal surfaces by removing rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or finishing.
Inspect surfaces to ensure quality standards are met before moving to the next stage of production.
Load and unload materials and position parts for blasting.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment and work areas.
Follow all company safety procedures and properly wear required PPE.
Assist with general shop duties as needed.
Requirements:
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
