💼 Accounting Manager (Direct Hire)
💰 Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually (based on qualifications)
We're seeking an experienced Tax & Accounting Manager to support the Controller and Tax & Treasury Director with day-to-day accounting, treasury, and tax functions. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash management activities, assisting with tax compliance, and contributing to month-end and year-end close processes.
📋 Key Responsibilities
• 📊 Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• 📅 Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• 💵 Support daily cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting
• 🏦 Monitor cash transactions and maintain treasury documentation
• 📝 Assist with federal, state, and local tax filings and maintain supporting documentation
• 💳 Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• 🏢 Maintain fixed asset records and intercompany accounting entries
• 📈 Prepare financial reports and schedules for management
• 🔍 Assist with internal and external audits
• 📚 Help maintain accounting, treasury, and tax policies and procedures
• 🤝 Collaborate with banking partners, external tax advisors, and internal departments
✅ Qualifications
• 💼 3–5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to treasury or tax functions preferred
• 📖 Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• 💰 Experience with bank reconciliations, cash management, AP/AR, and financial reporting
• 💻 Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• 🧠 Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• 🎓 Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
