Welder Fabricator

Mancan is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team in Sugarcreek. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling high-quality custom machinery and component. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work from blueprints to produce precision weldments.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding and fabrication on steel components and custom machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Cut, fit, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.
Set up welding equipment and ensure proper weld quality.
Assemble fabricated components to engineering specifications.
Inspect finished welds and products to ensure quality standards are met.
Safely operate fabrication equipment, hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety procedures.
Work closely with the manufacturing team to complete projects on schedule.
Hours are 5:30am- 4pm
$20-$25/hr based on experience
Qualifications:
Previous MIG welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Experience using measuring tools and shop equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
