Mancan Staffing is currently seeking an experienced **CNC Lathe Machinist** in the **Coraopolis area** for a skilled, hands-on machining opportunity with a strong path to permanent hire!
This role involves setting up and operating **Haas CNC Lathe machines** with precision machining, fabrication, and mechanical repair work in a fast-paced production environment. Ideal candidates will have strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
🔧 Key Responsibilities Include:
• Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes with precision and accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks)
• Fabricate, shape, and machine parts from metal, plastics, and composites
• Select, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools properly
• Perform light maintenance and daily cleaning of equipment
• Track parts/jobs using ERP systems
• Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and all safety procedures
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency and production flow

Haas DS30Y • Haas ST30Y • Haas ST35Y • Litz LT400 • Mitsubishi L-400
📌 Requirements:
• 5–10 years machining experience (journeyman preferred)
• Strong knowledge of metals, tooling, and machining principles
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
