Shift- 6PM-2AM Sunday-Thursday
Pay is $24/hr
This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Position Summary
:
The Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse. This position requires someone who is comfortable working alongside the team while managing warehouse activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing products. The ideal candidate will have warehouse leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise and participate in daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming produce shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
Utilize FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Process invoice adjustments and make changes using QuickBooks.
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Train, supervise, and provide daily direction to warehouse staff.
Initially manage daily warehouse operations independently, then oversee a team of 1–2 warehouse associates once hiring and training are complete.
Monitor employee productivity while promoting teamwork, safety, and accountability.
Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and shipping issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
:
Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in produce, food distribution, or warehouse operations is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks, or the ability to quickly learn invoice management.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Candidates who have worked for produce distributors, in grocery warehouse operations, food distribution centers, or other fresh food suppliers are preferred.
