Job Description:
A North Lima Engineering Company is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a general laborer. We are committed to fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning, and we are looking for someone who is eager to grow with the company by learning and mastering every job position within our organization. Must know how to use hand tools and power tools
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to component repair and maintenance. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting our experienced technicians with tear-downs and rebuilds of machinery components. Such as axels and transfer cases
- Learning and performing new part replacements.
- Operating parts cleaning equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.
- Gaining proficiency in bearing removal and installation procedures.
- Engaging in tasks such as wire-brushing, organizing nuts and bolts, and keeping the workspace tidy.
- Collaborating with our skilled staff to learn from their expertise and experience.
- Other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of our engineering department.
Requirements:
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to various job positions within the company.
- Basic knowledge of computers, tools, and related shop experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and effectively communicate with colleagues.
- Detail-oriented and capable of following instructions precisely.
- High level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, or mechanical fields is a plus, but not required.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a dayshift schedule, working from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Salary:
