Massillon Mancan is assisting a North Lawrence company in their search for a Maintenance Assistant!
Pay: $18.00-$19.00/hour (based on experience)
Massillon Mancan is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join a local company's maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic maintenance experience who is eager to learn and grow. You will work alongside an experienced Maintenance Supervisor and receive hands-on training in a variety of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general building maintenance, including changing light bulbs and basic repairs
• Sweep floors and help keep the facility clean and organized
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and other equipment
• Use basic hand tools safely and effectively
• Learn new maintenance skills through on-the-job training
• Complete assigned tasks independently as experience grows
Requirements:
• Some maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and the ability to use them safely
• Own basic tools is a plus
• Quick learner with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Dependable with a positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift
