Machine Operator/Set Up needed in the Austinburg area on 1st shift working Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating spring manufacturing equipment while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to assist in various departments as business needs require.
Essential Responsibilities
* Set up machines for basic compression, extension, wire form, and torsion spring production.
* Batch heat parts as required.
* Use calipers and other testing equipment to verify product quality and specifications.
* Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to obtain product approvals.
* Coordinate with the Grinding and Secondary Departments to ensure efficient workflow.
* Perform routine inspections to maintain quality standards.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Assist in other departments and perform additional duties as needed to support production and company objectives.
Work Experience Requirements (Skills)
* Good attendance and reliability.
* Proficient with computers and basic software applications.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
* Experience operating pallet jacks and tow motors is preferred.
* Ability to lift heavy objects throughout the workday.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to use precision measuring tools, including calipers.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
* Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move heavy materials.
* Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and material handling equipment.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following all safety requirements.
