CNC Programmer

Mancan Staffing is assisting a company in North Lawrence in hiring an experienced CNC Machinist.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: BOE
Job Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code or CAM-generated)
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed
• Maintain machines and ensure a clean, safe work environment
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience (lathe, mill, or both)
• Proven ability to write and modify CNC programs
• Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis or 5-axis) required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Drivers License is REQUIRED with strong work ethic
