Job Description
Mancan is currently seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Machine Operators. This position supports the Assembly Prep and Packing Department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Team members will operate production equipment, assemble and inspect parts, and help ensure quality products are completed safely and efficiently.
Work Schedule & Pay
• Monday – Friday
• 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• $18.00 per hour
What You’ll Do
Assemble gas meter settings and related components using hand tools such as wrenches, vices, and other shop equipment.
Operate machines to form and shape pipe according to production requirements.
Perform basic inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications and quality expectations.
Package finished parts and prepare orders for shipment.
Assist with general production tasks as needed, including material handling and shop organization.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
Support team members across different areas of production as workloads shift.
What You Bring
Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a similar hands-on role preferred (but not required).
Comfort using hand tools such as wrenches, vices, and measuring devices.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
Ability to follow instructions, read basic work orders, and stay organized.
Strong work ethic and reliability in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed.
Ability to stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
