Northfield Mancan is assisting a company in Streetsboro who is filling positions for 1st shift positions in their Fitting Dept. Shift times are 5:30am-4pm Mon-Fri. You must have a clean criminal background check and able to pass a drug test and lift 50 pounds.
This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing and assembling metal fittings and component parts used in steel containers and pails. Responsibilities may include operating production equipment, assembling and handling small metal components, inspecting parts for quality, following work instructions and safety procedures, maintaining accurate production standards, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
Candidates should have good attention to detail, the ability to work with their hands, basic mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time. Manufacturing, machine operating, assembly, or metalworking experience is a plus, but dependable candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn may also be considered.
