Industrial Sewing Operator – Athens, OH
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join a team producing high-quality automotive seats and components. In this role, you'll operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture products that contribute to the comfort, safety, and quality of vehicles.
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Starting Pay: $14.65/hour
**After being hired on full-time, employees have the opportunity to earn an additional $2.50 per hour worked through the company's incentive program.**
Responsibilities
-Operate industrial sewing machines to sew automotive seat covers and related components according to specifications.
-Measure, align, and position materials accurately to maintain quality standards.
-Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality and safety requirements.
-Work with the production team to meet daily production goals.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
-Assist with material handling and inventory as needed.
-Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on sewing equipment.
Qualifications
-Previous industrial sewing experience preferred, especially in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
-Experience operating industrial sewing machines.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-Ability to read and follow production specifications and work instructions.
-Good manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
-Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
-High school diploma or GED preferred.
-Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
