Mancan Staffing – Marietta is currently seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant Manager to join a growing restaurant team!
This is a great opportunity for an experienced kitchen professional who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high food quality standards, and helping create an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, dependable leader, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
👨🍳 Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily kitchen operations and support kitchen staff
• Supervise and provide guidance to cooks and prep staff during shifts
• Ensure food is prepared consistently according to recipes and quality standards
• Train, coach, and motivate team members while promoting teamwork
• Monitor food quality, portion control, inventory, and kitchen organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies
• Help coordinate schedules and ensure proper staffing
• Report equipment issues and assist with maintaining kitchen operations
• Step into leadership responsibilities when the Kitchen Manager is unavailable
🧰 Qualifications:
• Previous restaurant kitchen experience required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, professional, and committed to quality
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
