Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring excellent customer service from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Manage the waitlist and seat guests in a timely manner.
• Answer phones and assist with reservations when needed.
• Maintain an organized seating chart to maximize restaurant flow.
• Communicate with servers and management regarding table availability.
• Keep the host stand, lobby, and waiting area clean and organized.
• Assist with light cleaning and other front-of-house duties as assigned.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Qualifications:
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred.
Schedule:
• Wednesday through Sunday
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
